| VizionWare was founded in 2004 in Austin, TX, by Ken Egan, the company’s current Chief Technology Officer. The company’s core competencies – noise reduction and high performance interconnect extension – are rooted in a series of patents developed in 2004, and in extensive additional research undertaken at VizionWare’s headquarters over the past two years.
VizionWare has developed the core digital technology in silicon and has successfully implemented this technology into HDMI digital interconnects and adapters that demonstrate stunning digital signal fidelity independent of reach limitations and video resolution. The company’s objective is to establish its digital interconnects as the premium quality products in the custom residential and commercial installation markets and then extend into the OEM and consumer channels. Active Digital Connection
Unlike existing technologies, VizionWare’s cables and adapters are reach-independent interconnect products that offer higher fidelity and better resolution, regardless of installation configuration. VizionWare HDMI interconnects incorporate enhanced signal conditioning using a patented technology that delivers a stunning 1080p viewing experience without compromise. This proprietary active digital connect circuitry processes the digital signal output at the source for transmission across the cable. Circuitry at the other end then reconstitutes the signal transmitted across the cable into its original format, exactly as it was transmitted on the other end. Distortion, pixelation, and electromagnetic interference are virtually eliminated, resulting in a pure, crystalline high-definition picture. And because the interconnect itself is powered, VizionWare is able to deliver superior results over extended lengths of cable. VizionWare technology requires no additional receivers or transmitters.
Existing cable implementations typically require larger gauge wire and extensive shielding that deliver marginal results because they are passive. VizionWare’s active interconnect cable does not need to be as thick and stiff as passive analog cabling, facilitating easier installation, with less mechanical strain on connectors caused by the physical weight and torque of the wiring. This means lower installation costs and dramatically improved reliability at competitive pricing to other premium cable brands.
Strategic Plan
VizionWare is targeting four main market segments: custom home theater, commercial, OEM and consumer. Each segment has its own unique set of reach and audio/video performance requirements, but with VizionWare’s digital interconnect technology, ease of installation and reliability in each segment reaches a whole new level.
